GeneXus 15 - live editingting (DOUBT)

We are generating an application in GeneXus 15 for Smart Devices and at the time we needed to configure the layout of the application screens through live editingting .

The doubts are the following:

  • We have generated an apk in release mode but when we tried it it still shows the message, it is trying to connect with live editing which is not correct.
  • When it is going to be published in the Playstore, what configuration is necessary so that this connection message does not continue appearing, causing annoyances in our users?

    • I hope you can help us since we are in the liberation phase and we need to resolve this doubt.

    To deactivate the Live Editing mode, change the value of the combo Configuration from Live Editing to < Strong> Release and rebuild the application.

    While the Live Editing mode is activated, it does not matter if you are running from GeneXus or using the .apk, you will always try to connect to the server.

    If you have already moved to Release and the message still appears, I suggest you try doing a Rebuild All in the knowledge base. If it still appears, you should contact GeneXus Support because the case should be analyzed well.
