We have the following scenario hosted under PLESK.

  • dominio.com : Main WEB where the WEB is hosted in WORDPRESS. IT HAS ACTIVE SSL.

In addition, we have international domains type:

  • dominio.pt
  • dominio.fr
  • dominio.it

We want to configure with the WPML that each language is displayed in a domain, for this we have followed these steps: link

What is the problem?

That the domain.com with active SSL and the rest of domains under SERVERALIAS, when entering, for example, domain.pt gives an "unsafe web" error ... what can we do? Being an Alias can not install an SSL (at least that's what they told us) ...:?

Indeed the SSL certificate can only be enabled for a domain that has an associated hosting. For an alias domain is not possible. A recommendation could be to handle the subject of languages with subdomains for example if the visitor opens the domain.fr site is redirected to fr.dominio.com or could be to dominio.com/fr /
