I am trying to connect to a Windows Server 2008 R2 server by RDP with another Windows 7 machine. The problem is that when I try to do it I get the message: This session will be disconnected due to a protocol error in the client code 0x1104.
I thought it was a problem with port 3389 but verify that this port is open. What could be the problem ???

In several cases there were reports that the error you mentioned appears with incompatibilities in the visual style between the systems.
If this is the case, the remedy is to turn off the option of visual styles in the options of your RDP client.
I do not know the menus in Spanish, but you should find the option in opciones(?)->experiencia(?)->estilos_visuales(?) .
Please, it would be nice if you could confirm how you get to the option in a Spanish system when you find it.
