SQL Developer already works as you wish. So, by default, it only shows you the tables belonging to the connected user.
But it seems that you have connected using the user system , which owns several system tables, that's why you see them.
If you do not want to see the system tables, then do not connect using the user system . Rather, create a new user, and connect using that user. This way you will only see the tables that you create under that new user.
