Wordpress - Problem when uploading images (I have permission)

1

I have a newly installed wordpress page. However, I am having problems uploading images. When I want to upload it, he says: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content / uploads.

However, I have 755 permissions on wp-content, and on uploads. Also, I noticed that the user who ran the php could write on the folder (I entered by ftp with the same user).

I have no idea what it might be ... Something that may be bothering you is the fact that it is a shared server. Use suexec to manage the permissions (I could tell because I have a folder called cgi-bin in my public_html).

Any idea how I can fix it? I have read a number of sites, and nothing has worked for me. I think it may be because of the suexec, although I do not understand 100% how it works.

Hi, I had the same problem. Fix it by changing the permissions to 777 . It is not the best but once I finish what I needed to do I will return the permissions to the original state and try to solve the problem in the background.

Give 777 permission and access from filezila or from an ftp file manager that you like.

I think this article in English could solve your doubt, because it also talks about suexec and the rest.
