Error starting and uninstalling Oracle 10g express

Good evening I have this problem when starting Oracle 10g.

When I start it, I get this message:

And when I want to uninstall it, the window appears, loads for a few seconds and closes:

What could I do? I tried to do what they said in various forums and nothing. The problem continues. I would appreciate if you could help.

This error is usually displayed when the installation code needs administrator permissions.

You can try two ways:

  • Right click on the icon and run as administrator

  • Run StarDB.bat from a commmand prompt
