I'm setting up a page. web with joomla and I need to install an extension, but this extension can only be installed from the option "Install from a directory", but this option is not available. Someone knows how to enable it or if I need to install an extension to be able to "Install from a directory".

Usually it is not activated by default in JOOMLA, you have to go to the following tab:

Extensions - > plugin - > SEARCH installer - install from directory - > Activate the plugin.

With that you can install from the directory.
