If you work in local it is normal that in your domain they are not seen but only in localhost / your_installation_folder / etc ...

From Wordpress you can define the address of the links and where the page is hosted but you can not "work remotely" unless you have a "remote wordpress" to which you are accessing.
Remember that you have installed it locally and you are working on your own computer, NOT on the destination server.

No: Even if you have chosen the same username, in one installation you will have a password and in the other you can have a different one
To reset the password, go to the wp-login.php page by writing this just at the end of your URL (by first putting a bar (/)) .
