How the SQL Agent is active in SQL Server Management Studio

I want to use a job in my data base, for that I need to activate the Sql Agent

Try to activate it from my control panel but it still does not appear to register my job

It may be due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • The user you are using does not have privileges to see the Agent
  • You are using an express version of SQL Server
  • You are using an express version of the Managment Studio

    • When you talk about activation, you may refer to uploading the agent service ... you can do that from the SQL Server Configuration Manager or from the operating system services.
