What is the error HTTP State 404 - / manager / html in tomcat?

0

What I have just done is download and install version 8.0 of the tomcat server in the eclipse environment, but when I start the server and try to access the tomcat administrator I get the following:

I'm accessing with the path of localhost:8080 .

I already did the switch button

And the local servers section is still not disabled.

Error 404 indicates that you are trying to access a resource that does not exist, in this case the manager application, and within this, the path / html. If you check the boot log of the tomcat you will be able to verify which applications are being deployed and to know if manager is or not in your tomcat installation.
