Ionic 2, do you use Angular 2 or AngularJS?

0

I understand that Angular is not the same as AngularJS , and that there is a lot of confusion regarding this topic on the Internet. For this reason, it gives me more confidence to ask the following question here, before searching for information on the Internet.

Ionic 2, do you use Angular2 or AngularJS?

The question is that I want to start studying Ionic, but first I have to focus on learning Angular or AngularJS (depending on what they answer).

Thank you.

From the official documentation :

Ionic currently requires Angular in order to work at its full   potential. While you are still using the CSS portion of the framework,   you'll miss out on powerful UI interactions, gestures, animations, and   other things. In the future, Ionic plans to become more agnostic in   order to support a broader variety of JavaScript frameworks.

Brief translation: Ionic currently requires Angular (not AngularJS) to get the most out of it. In the future it is planned to be more "agnostic" to support a greater variety of frameworks.
