Doubt about currency to use when making payment to another country with a paid market [closed]

In my application I allow my sellers to sell in Argentina and Chile, my question is how do I get a Chilean to pay an Argentinean? What currency do I use in the application? Does this change the currency automatically and if so, does it have any cost? Where can I read more about it? Thank you very much.

For now what you can do is pay with the card of another country in a site that implements a paid market, although I remember the checkout solutions still do not operate cross-country but it is necessary to use the credentials of each country and there should be an instance of the application by country since there are different restrictions and regulations, such as payments in installments, banks, interest rates, minimum information needed etc., besides that not all functionalities are available in all countries or can work differently.

Good morning

I understand that if you use paypal as an intermediary between companies to receive the payment, the receiving company will receive the payment in its local currency, for example:

  • Argentina sells N product = 50 Argentine pesos Chile buys N product = in its currency at a rate equivalent to 50 Argentine pesos.
  • The api of paypal allows you to charge the currency of your country in different countries but they charge you a% for transactions.

That is the case that you have to study more thoroughly, I hope I can help you with this answer
