I use Eclipse for Java and many times when I give Control + another key, it hangs up and a good time i do the same but with the mouse it does not usually happen. It also hangs sometimes by simply selecting a word or code liena. Many times I give "File" and it stays hung for a long time instead with the rest of the options of the menu above are displayed without problem. It happens to me whether I'm connected to the Tomcat or not. Any ideas? Thanks
I have seen that disabling hyperlinking or changing the key (by default it is on the control key and while copying, pasting etc I was doing hyperlinking) it does not happen anymore. But neither is the solution, because when I use it with another key it keeps hanging. It keeps hanging sometimes when you hit the "file" drop-down.
Good thing happened to me, going to:
Window - > Preferences - > General - > Keys
And restoring by default each button was solved.
