As an antecedent, I explain that I have a certain system already in operation with an Apache server that runs PHP and MySQL . Apart users have in their terminals (phone or tablet) an application Android that connects to this server through the local network only.
The question itself is:
Is there a way that a local server can send notifications to the terminals that have the application installed and are working through the local network ?
