I have a problem with the signed documents. I need a way to add certain values that identify them. I'll explain the scenario a bit. Users send digitally signed documents through a web platform. I want to add File No. and Year of file.
I can think of two possible solutions, one is to modify the metadata or properties of the document, but I could not find it, it seems that these are digitally signed and can not be modified. Is there any field or property that is outside of what the digital signature protects, so you can change it?
Second possibility: is there a way to put a signed document "inside" another, so that the content of the User's document remains intact and signed? PS: I'm developing on asp.net Greetings
