I have been using git with eclipse for a short time, it turns out that when I share a project from the popup of the project browser I am asked for a location for the local repository.
By facilitating it and creating the repo, the project is no longer in the workspace and happens to be in the local repository, although linked to the project browser.
Is it right to work with a project outside the workspace? Is there a way to keep the repository inside the workspace together with the project? Is it possible to have the project in the worksapce and the .git in different directories?
