Whenever I install and activate a template (theme) that I think is pretty on my page it looks unconfigured (the images or the slider do not appear and many things that did appear in the preview of the original) .. I've been watching tutorials but they do not solve my problem because the templates they use are for payment and as I have seen they have easy the option to import files ... in my free templates (downloaded from the same worpress.org) that option does not appear..I know that each Import of files depends on the template you use, but I would like to know if there is a universal method to import files from any template, that is, so that my installed template looks identical to the demo. It also helps that the documentation is always in English . The theme that I am using now (free, from wordpress) and appears unconfigured is: HITMAG

Unfortunately, some free themes do not include the option to import test content, but it is a unique feature for your paid editions.

The subject you're talking about, HitMag , does not have demo content for its free version either. However, if you buy the theme, you can import the demo content as it says on the HitMag Pro documentation :

  • First activate and install this plugin. - One Click Demo Import.
  • Then go to Desktop > Appearance > "Import Demo Data".
  • Click on the "Import Demo Data" button.
