I am trying to create an account in Google Cloud Platform with my personal account but I see that if I select Spain as the country in the account type, it only lets me select Company.
As I read here link and here link there were changes due to VAT in Europe, so you can only create an account for business purposes It seems annoying to me since I imagine that many people like me, will want to be able to try the platform simply to train in it or create a non-profit application.
So, there are two options:
-
Create the account by selecting Spain and entering a nonexistent company name. I do not know if this is very legal. I have also tried it and I reject the transaction with the card. Does it have to be a card linked to a company or something?
-
Create the account by selecting United States. So you can select individual account. I have not tried it. Is it possible or will there be some kind of problem?
Any ideas on how to do it? Thanks.
