I recently had an account on wordpress.com for a client's job. Said client bought a tpaf.org domain, now I need my page to go to the address www.tipaf.org and not tipafdot.wordpress.com. I already change my domain by default for the new purchased one but I get the service it's unusable, I think I have to make some more changes but I do not have much knowledge of this, regards
what you have to do is that with the domain provider you have to configure it to be a "redirect". That is, when you enter tipaf.org redirect to tipafdot.wordpress.com, and there are two redirection modes, one in which the url address is changed by the original (tipafdot.wordpress.com) and another where the URL is used. domain address tipaf.org ... the names and exactly where it is made varies from provider to provider, depending on whether you purchased it with godaddy.com, google, akky or some other provider
