Create VPN with CISCO modem

0

I was trying to create a VPN network with my Cisco modem and I really would not know how to create it. Enter the modem and I run into this data when I want to create the tunnel.

In the "Local endpoint settings" part, would you configure everything related to what is inside my local network, right? For example, my network is 192.168.0.0/24, so in subnet could 192.168.0.0 with a mask 255.255.255.0 no? My biggest doubt here is that it is Identity, the truth is that I do not know what to put there, the gateway?

Then, in the "Remote endpoint settings" part, I lost more. I would think that in the part of the "Remote Address" my WAN IP goes, but in the other fields I would not know what to put, mostly because it is repeated as the sub network.

Please, if you could help me, I would really appreciate it.

Then it is not on that screen where you have to configure it. You have two possible options. 1 (I do not know if your router can do it) look for an option that is PPP server and it is simply activate it to create a username and password. It is not an option that all the routers have. 2. You need I. configure a computer to receive connections or if it is a Windows server install routing and remote access (Linux no idea) II. Configure the firewall to allow connections or port 1723 III. On the router redirect port 1723 to the computer or server

Obviously option 1 is much simpler, but it must have it to the router.
