I have Android Studio 3.1.3 installed (Powered by the Intellij Platform).
I'm starting to make MDC-101 Android: Material Components (MDC) Basics (Java), it's a tutorial that offers link to learn how to work with Material Design
The sample project, the dependencies o.k. After the tutorial indicates that the application must be executed. And there's the problem, the Run button does not appear enabled. If I go to the menu bar and click on Run I have the Run option enabled (Alt + Shift + F10). When executing that option, a small window appears that says: Edit Configurations. When doing click on it, a Run / Debug Configurations window appears. Attached screen print of what what do i indicate On the other hand in the Event Log it appears: Migrate Project to Gradle? This project does not use the Gradle build system. We recommend that you migrate to uing the Gradle build system.
If someone has developed this tutorial or knows what is the next step, I would appreciate it. I'm pretty confused, and I do not know what to do to develop the tutorial, correctly.
