You must request the AuthCode on your current server, it is a code to transfer the domain from one provider to another. Once you have it, you must provide it to your new provider to make the transfer of the domain.
I recommend making a copy of your entire website. Download your files to the computer and once you have transferred you can upload the files to the new accommodation. Anyway, GoDaddy has to help you with that.
