Just start the linux, execute this command:

dmesg

Paste the result here or search the something related to your sound card. To know which version / brand it recognizes. There you will say for example "soundblaster ... 333"

Also look for / var / log / messages something related to "soundblaster ... 333" or what the dmesg command has given you and google it.

I remember that if you install the ALSA package it installs everything related to drivers / utilities.
