I have a mid-2011 Macbook, model A1370, 4 GB of RAM, 128 SSD, Intel Pentium Core i5.
This mac has a disk partition, about 70 GB reserved for the operating system Lion 10.7.5 and about 50 GB where you have installed a Linux operating system. I had a UEFI dualboot to be able to choose to boot with the Linux operating system or the Apple operating system.
Everything worked perfectly, without problems until I decided to upgrade to OS X El Capitan. The mac restarts, a bar appears with progress of the installation and when it finishes, a message appears stating that "The installation of OS X could not be completed".
When entering Disk Utilities - > First help, the problem still persists. Also, when entering Startup Disk, I do not see any.
Any help I appreciate, I have not been able to solve the problem.
