how do I use Git for a programming environment Graph a PLC controller?

0

Good afternoon, I'm researching and learning all the features of Git, I want to integrate it and apply it to my work, but I have a doubt how viable it can be.

I explain to you I work with two development environments, Ide Eclipse "for programming in c" and Agilia "graphic and logical development environment, block programming", these are used together to program a "PLC" controller of a little known brand, but with which it is easy to be able to program from its kernel and operating system of task management ect.

I've been working on this for two years and I'm tired of handling old versions for folders and dates, I'm clear that with Eclipse I can use Git and its benefits in some way, my question is.

Can I do the same with the files generated by IDE AGILIA?

There are Git of control companies like Siemes or Rockwell, with their different PLC lines.

Thanks for your help.
