how to recover a VBA module and userform in excel after closing

0

I've been working on an excel file with a userForm for weeks, right now I saved it and when I closed it and opened it again (a few minutes later) the macro that opened it told me that the macro could not be executed, it might not be available or they have been disabled. When going to the basic visual programmer tab the module and the form disappeared, they are not in the drop-down tree as if they had never existed .. How can I recover it?

Note; all macros are activated in the trust center

You have lost that code. Precisely when you are programming in VBA, in your case in Excel, these files should be saved in XLSM format, that is, an "Excel Book enabled for macros", in doing so, Excel guarantees that you will store the VB Projects (your code as such); In this respect, when you try to save it without enabling macros, Excel itself warns you that if you insist on saving it without this authorization, no such VB Projects will be stored. In your case, I think you ignored that warning, and therefore your valuable code, product of several days of effort, you have lost. I do not like to be the bearer of bad news, however I hope you can redo your code and make sure you save them in the correct format so you do not suffer from a new loss of source code.
