What happens to me is the following, on one occasion when trying to use a .whl file that I did not know how to open, my computer showed me as an Adobe option, the question is that I accidentally click on the always use button.
Now every time I download some file that in the first instance the computer does not know how to open it uses abobe and as a result it becomes a pdf.
I would like to use a .whl and a .ipynb file but now I can not.

Very easy:
Right-click on any .whl file, click on open with ... and then choose default program and search for the program you want to open it with (for example Python Wheels, IPython, Jupyter, etc.) and finally click on the box always use the selected program to open this type of files and the accept button ( if the program does not appear you must click browse and search the program files folder for the program to use (you obviously select the .exe executable). .
