I have an App in Gx 15 U4 and Android SD and .NET with SQL Server.

I am preparing the database to take it to another PC .. The BD will have another name to the current one, for which I am putting everything on the local machine.

At the level of the preferences of the model change the name of the Database of the App and automatically I changed it in GAM also to the same repository.

I made a Create Database and I created everything, the same I did from Tools for the GAM. Inside the base now I have the system tables plus the GAM tables. At the time of running the GAM Tool, it supposedly initialized everything necessary.

Now when I run the App on the usual machine, it asks for the Login of the App and when I enter it gives me a controlled error that says: that the GAM User and Password does not exist, that it consults with the Administrator.

If I leave the preference again with the previous database it works fine.

What is good what happens and what should I change?

I was seeing that there are some comments in SAC's that says that I must indicate the User and Password but I'm not sure where. If it is in the preferences of the Model at the GAM level or elsewhere.

After creating the new database with the new preferences you have to do a rebuild all.

That way the connection.gam is generated again and it starts connecting well to that BD.

Another alternative is to run options in the Tools->GeneXus Access Manager menu:

  • Initialize metadata
  • Update Connection File

Please note that the connection and administrator data entered in the preferences of the database are those used when creating the same.

Your admin user will be the one who was placed on that property.
