From Accsess to Excel it is exported using the Export Assistant. Copying what the official Office page indicates ( link ):
If the Excel target book is open, close it before continuing.
In the navigation pane of the source database, select the object you want to export (or select the desired records in the data sheet view) On the External Data tab, in the Export group, click Excel.
In the Export to Excel spreadsheet dialog box, check the proposed file name for the Excel workbook (Access uses the name of the source object). If you wish, you can modify the file name.
In the File Format box, select the file format you want.
If you are exporting a table or query and want to export formatted data, select Export data with formatting and layout.
