Upload a project to 000webhost

You see, I need clarifications to upload my laravel project to the web through 000webhost.

I'm supposed to upload my project to public_html , but I've only found an option to upload individual files, not the entire folder. Should I compress my project?

What I do have is that I have filezilla, and I have already managed to connect it to the host:

Although it is temporary and after a while it closes, in addition to closing and reopening I must re-enter the host data. How do I make the connection indefinitely?

I update: I have already created a zip of my project and I have uploaded it.

If you compress the folder and upload it as a zip file through the web, you can upload the folder directly. Regarding the connection, both with filezilla and from the website itself have many disconnection errors and you will have to update the page.
