In this upgrade I am not finding the way to work the table within the free style grid to be responsive ...
Am I missing something or is it not cutting me to setting?

Note: Given some answers, the right button on the grid does not show a contextual menu.
Just in case, I leave an image:
Try from the Document Outliner tool window.
Find the Freestyle Grid and right click on the table that is inside the Freestyle Grid. If the table is not Responsive, there will appear the option Convert to Responsive Table .
After you convert it to Responsive, the Responsive Sizes option will appear.
To enable it go to View -> Other Tool Windows -> Document Outliner .
Likewise, I think that you should be able to do as you are trying, and that it should be corrected.
If you select the Grid in the Layout, and then right click on the Grid at the top of the screen, you should have the option there.
