Error apt-get not found on Mac

When trying to install cocoapods in MAC , I see this error: 

Designers-Mac:~ designer$ apt-get update
-bash: apt-get: command not found

What can be the error? I've tried more commands but they do not work for me

macOS does not have that package manager. One of the most used alternatives is Homebrew, although there are also others as you can see here: link
