Framework for Arduino [closed]

1

Good Colleagues,

I have a strange question, I want to use a Firmdata for arduino, to be more specific Jhonny Five or Cylon JS library, but my query is as follows, these signatures work only if the arduino is connected to the team or also also in an autonomous way (that is, disconnecting the device's arduino and placing external power)

Cordial greetings.

The library is called Firmata and not Firmdata and here is an article explaining what is Firmata

This is a communication protocol based on Midi. With this protocol you must always have Arduino connected to the other end of the communication.

You talk about Arduino, what model of Arduino? If you want to have it disconnected from the computer you will have to have WiFi or BLE, there is no other. In the case that you have WiFi, my recommendation is that you use a platform in the cloud such as aRest Framework that is open source.

But you can also use other platforms like Firebase Still I leave you a tutorial of Firmata with Jhonny Five .

If you want you can also use an Arduino compatible board with WiFi, very economical and based on the ESP8266 , it is called NodeMCU .

Possibilities you have all you want what you have to be clear is what you want to do.
