I have a project mounted on an external server working correctly for some time, from this download an excel file using PHPExcel everything works fine. I saw the need to make some updates to the excel it throws, working on my local server to make changes when it creates the file download it well but when I open it says:
"The file you are trying to open has a different format than the one specified by the file extension, check that the file is not corrupted and comes from a trusted source before opening it. Would you like to open the file now?"
When I open it I see many symbols, this is done with all the excel files that I download from the local server since I have other projects that do this function and the same thing happens to me. I have installed xampp with apache.
revert the changes I made to the file and I still see the same error.
I was investigating and apparently it is necessary to erase the Apache cache I have tried what the posts say but it was not able to erase the cache. I hope you can help me I thank you in advance.
