The content you import will be placed in the _posts table and you will be able to present them wherever you want. If you defined a blog page, there they will appear ordered in chronological order. You can convert that page to your initial page.
But be careful, do not get confused about the place where they migrate. In wordpress there are no pages as in a traditional site, only routes, where the information is presented.
For example, those migrated entries will appear in the author's route, the year, the labels they contain, the category, etc., without existing in each of those routes.
